Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has congratulated his Cross River State counterpart, Prince Bassey Edet Otu, on his 66th birthday, describing him as a compassionate leader and a visionary reformer whose governance continues to inspire progress and unity.
In a goodwill message issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, Governor Radda lauded Governor Otu — fondly called Sweet Prince — for his remarkable political journey and enduring commitment to public service.
He highlighted Otu’s contributions from his days in the House of Representatives and the Senate to his current role as Governor, noting his efforts in promoting human development, youth empowerment, and community growth through impactful programmes across Cross River State.
Governor Radda also praised Otu’s leadership within the All Progressives Congress (APC), describing him as a unifying figure whose humility and experience have strengthened the party’s cohesion and advanced progressive governance nationwide.
“On behalf of the government and good people of Katsina State, I warmly congratulate my brother and colleague, His Excellency, Prince Bassey Edet Otu, on this milestone. Your unwavering dedication to service, compassion, and good governance remains a shining example in today’s Nigeria,” Governor Radda stated.
He prayed for continued good health, wisdom, and divine grace for Governor Otu, wishing him more fruitful years of impactful leadership.
